Kleyn Announces NASCAR Truck Series Debut -Plus His 2026 Plans

On Monday, May 18th, 2026, Kasey Kleyn announced his debut in Craftsman Truck Series starts with Rackley War at North Wilkesboro Speedway, Saturday July 18th.

Along with a few other truck series events, Kleyn also plans to compete in some big late model stock events, including his CARS Tour debut. Kasey also looks to continue racing in marquee super late model events across the country.

Kasey Kleyn plans to make his truck series debut in the Rackley War #27 Truck at North Wilkesboro Speedway on Saturday, July 18th. Three to four more truck races are also on Kasey's schedule - Richmond, Martinsville, and either Charlotte or Bristol. These will be Kasey's first trips to these tracks. The list of possible dates for all of Kleyn's races is below.

An interesting addition to Kasey's schedule included two late model stock events. The CARS Tour and late model stock racing is regarded as the most competitive racing in the country on the short track level. Kleyn will be racing in two of the bigger events on the late model stock calendar, with those being the CARS Tour event at North Wilkesboro Speedway (the day before his truck debut), and the Valleystar Credit Union 300 at Martinsville. The Valleystar Credit Union 300 is finale of the Virginia Triple Crown, a three-race late model stock point series. The team he will be driving for has yet to be announced.

Finally, Kleyn will continue to compete in marquee super late model races across the country, starting with the Wenatchee 200, but now with a twist. Kasey will be partnering with Anthony Campi Racing for the CARS Tour West event at the WVSO. Other races that Kleyn plans to run but with a team still TBA include the ASA Stars Nationals Series at Owosso, Slinger and Toledo, the All-American 400, and the Snowball Derby.
