Peterson, Vaughn, Cannon and Sargent Return to Deming Speedway Victory Lane

Everson, WA - One week after Mother Nature called a halt to races early, Deming Speedway returned to action and got the full night of racing in the books, crowning four first time winners on the early season. Action was presented by Pacific Coast Welding & Marine and Walton Beverage. 92 cars signed in for competition. 

The Speedmart 600 feature finished the night off and on a very slick surface, Jared Peterson raced to his first victory of the year. David Greene kept Peterson in striking distance for most of the feature but could never make a move to try and unseat Jared for the lead. Kyle Mitchell ran third. Heat winners were Greene, Peterson, Haley Constance and Clayton Jalakas.

Nate Vaughn was in a league of his own in the Shots 2 Go Espresso 1200 main event, leading all 30 laps of the feature without challenge. Peyton Drake got the better of his sister in the main event, taking second place over older sister Dakota who ended up third. Heat wins went to Kyle Mitchell and Jayden Whitney. 

In the Doyle Guffie’s Rallye Auto Sales 600 Restricted division, Ryan Cannon ran a strong race up front and led every lap on his way to his first win of the year. Hudson Little debuted a new car and raced from the third row to a strong second place with Dayton Empey running a close third. Hayden Adams, Jayce Medcalf, Hunter Cook and Savanna Hillier won the heats.

Kayson Sargent was dominant in the Capstone Plastering JR Sprint A Main, Sargent led all twenty laps for his first A Main win of the year. The battle behind Kayson was close all race, with Cole Dishenau holding off Lucas Fisher for runner up, while Fisher would take third with Luke Coates right on his back bumper. Sargent, Dishneau and Coates won the heat races.
