Coming off of a very strong crowd and event during the 2026 Apple Cup, Tri-City Raceway now puts focus on their Crashfest event, scheduled for May 23rd.
Tri-City Raceway had a non-sanctioned pro-late model race set for under the lights May 9th, but the track has announced that they are canceling that event. With low car counts mentioned, the track also stated this on social media "This decision is not made lightly. Our fans and teams deserve strong fields, great competition, and a full show—and we’re committed to delivering that standard every time we open the gates.".

The pro late models were set to be joined by hobby stocks, street stocks, and mini stocks. The track also mentioned that there may be a possibility of a reschedule, and that more information would be announced, but for now, all pre-paid registration and tickets are being refunded.
If you were looking forward to getting out to Tri-City Raceway in the month of may, there is still a big event Memorial Day weekend! The track is hosting "Crashfest", which includes hornet, bomber, and boat races alongside lawn mower drags and a stunt from the one and only Mr.Dizzy.
This event takes place May 23rd.
