Midsummer 2026 Northwest Driver Rankings.

After surveying many people in the NW racing industry, on both the dirt and asphalt side, this is the midsummer top-10 driver rankings of Northwest drivers! The criteria that was used to qualify for the list was a Northwest based driver or team that predominantly races in the Northwest. Teams and drivers that travel here a few times a year do not qualify. If a Northwest driver competes in events outside the PNW, those results will be factored in. Results in 2026 and end of 2025 are the main factors on this list, this is not an all time list, but a current “Who is the best” list.

Trey Starks and Levi Hillier are at the top of the points standings for the 410 Sprint Cars at Skagit Speedway. Starks has had a very dominant season so far, but the rookie of Hillier is just 21 points behind. Levi had a huge weekend not too long ago during the Jim Raper Dirt Cup, where he would go on to finish 6th in the main event on Saturday night against a stacked field that included a lot of national talent. Starks not only leads the 410 points, but is also leading the 360 Sprint Car points at Skagit Speedway by 83 points. Trey Starks ran into issues early in the main event at Dirt Cup, and that has been one of the only missteps in his 2026 season.
Aaron Willison and Jeff Montgomery have been busy representing the Northwest in asphalt sprint car racing, competing in the Race for the Million series. The pair of British Columbia natives currently sit First(Willison) and Fourth(Montgomery) in the standings with two of the four races complete in the series. Aaron Willison has also been busy winning 4 of the 5 Northwest Sprint Tour races in 2026. Even with that dominance, Montgomery only sits 37 points behind in the championship standings with four races remaining.
There is no secret that late model racing has been as competitive as ever in the Northwest. Ethan Ebert has proven himself at Tri-City Raceway, winning the last three Super Late Model races there. Ebert and his Jefferson Racing #9 currently sit at the top of the CARS Tour Northwest Pro Late Model points. Haley Constance has been near perfect at Evergreen Speedway in 2026, leading the points standings over many time champion Naima Lang. Haley is coming off a 3rd place finish in the stacked CARS Tour West field at the Galloway 150 Shootout on the 5/8ths mile at Evergreen, followed by a win in the Central Welding Supply 125 at Evergreen on the 3/8ths. Thomas Stanford started the year off with a huge win at Tri-City Raceway, but has since ran into trouble while contending up front. Haeden Plybon has had a series of unfortunate events affecting his start to 2026, but carries a big pro late model win at the Fall Classic in 2025 to this year. Plybon and Stanford and both contenders to move up the list as luck hopefully turns back around for them.
Cole Dasenbrock has been wining on both coasts this year in legend competition. Most recently, he won the CARS Tour legends race at Stateline Speedway during the Idaho 200 weekend, making this his second series win on the year. Cole also won a Summer Shootout race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, representing the Northwest.
The 2025 Super Stock Figure-8 Champion and current 2026 points leader of Mackenzie Repin rounds out the list of top-10 drivers in the Northwest. The defending champion is a consistent staple to the podium in arguably the toughest figure-8 class out of the 3 at Evergreen Speedway, and is coming off a huge win in the 2026 Figure-8 Nationals just over one month ago.
