Qualifying Pill Draw Results for Summer Showdown

A pair of young drivers will set the bar as the first drivers out for both the CARS Tour West Super Late Models and CARS Tour Northwest Pro Late Models qualifying for the Summer Showdown. Bryce Bezanson is the first to roll in SLM qualifying, and Turner Brown will be out first for the PLM.

Last year, the pole time for the Summer Showdown SLM was a 21.772, set by Tristan McKee. Qualifying this year will hold a little more weight this year, as there are no heat races to set the final lineup like in years past. Super Late Model qualifying will take place at 2:15pm PT on Saturday, August 15th.

On the pro late model side, drivers have only two 20-minute sessions today to get their cars dialed in for qualifying, which takes place at 3pm PT. Last year, the pro late models ran the 3/8s mile on Summer Showdown weekend. Two years ago, Wyatt Gardner set fast time with a 23.422, a full second slower than the current pro late model times.
